About me.
Hi!!! I’m Emily, a Sussex-based illustrator with a background in marine biology and a love for wildlife. I’ve always been fascinated by nature, and my travels have given me the privilege of seeing some of the world’s most incredible animals up close. However, there are so many species that don’t get the attention they deserve—whether due to limited funding, their elusive nature, or simply because they’re not in the public eye. This is what drives my work.
As a relatively new illustrator, I’m focused on using my illustrations to bring attention to lesser-known, endangered species. I believe that the more people know about these creatures, the better equipped we are to protect them. My aim is to create art that not only celebrates these species but also helps raise awareness about the challenges they face. I’m committed to creating my illustrations and ceramics (coming to my website soon) as sustainably as possible, ensuring that my work aligns with my values of conservation and respect for the environment.
When I’m not illustrating or learning about wildlife, you’ll likely find me indulging in my love of food and travel—two things that are just as good as the natural world. I’m always looking for new ways to bring my passion for nature into my work, and I’m excited for what the future holds.
Thank you for visiting supporting my journey to make a difference through illustration!
